Thalavady Farmers Foundation Supports Tribal Students with Bicycles
The Thalavady Farmers Foundation, in collaboration with Rotary Club Sathyamangalam and Rotary Club Thalavadi Hills, and with the generous support of individuals, has distributed six bicycles to 10th standard students from the Soligar Dhoddi tribal village.
The tribal children of Soligar Dhoddi have long struggled with commuting challenges due to their hamlet’s remote location from the nearest bus stations. This has contributed to a high school dropout rate in the area. Recognizing this pressing issue, the Foundation has stepped in with an initiative to provide bicycles, aiming to ease their commute and support their education.
The bicycle distribution event was presided over by Ms Jaya Chitra, the in-charge Headmaster of the local school. Mr. Satish, the President of Bayanapuram Panchayat, handed over the bicycles to the students during the function.
This initiative highlights the commitment of the Thalavady Farmers Foundation and its partners to ensuring education remains accessible to all, even in the most remote communities.
இன்று தாளவாடி விவசாயிகள் பவுண்டேஷன் குன்னன்புரம் அரசு உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் படிக்கும் சோளகர் தொட்டி பழங்குடி மாணவர்களுக்கு மிதிவண்டிகள் வழங்கியது. திருமதி அமுதா, சத்தியமங்கலம் ரோட்டரி கிளப் மற்றும் தாளவாடி ஹில்ஸ் ரோட்டரி கிளப் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து இரண்டு மிதிவண்டிகளும், திரு பாலகிருஷ்ணன் ஒரு மிதிவண்டியும், திரு வியானி அவர்கள் ஒரு மிதிவண்டியும் திரு ஜேக்கப் சத்தியசீலன் அவர்கள் இரண்டு மிதிவண்டிகளும் நமது பவுண்டேஷன்க்கு வழங்கினர்.
பழங்குடி மாணவர்களின் கல்வியை உறுதி செய்யும் வகையில் ஒரு சிறு முயற்சியாக இந்த மிதிவண்டிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
பையனாபுரம் பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர் திரு சதீஷ் அவர்கள் மிதிவண்டிகளை மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கினார்கள்.
ரிப்போர்ட்டர் திருவேலு அவர்கள் சத்தியமங்கலம் ரோட்டரி கிளப் தலைவர் திருமதி அமுதா அவர்களிடத்தில் அறிமுகம் செய்து மிதிவண்டிகள் பெறுவதற்கு ஆவண செய்தார்கள் என்பதை மகிழ்வுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.
